Thanks for your thoughts! I've been desperately trying to get a copy of TC's Forever, but it keeps getting lost between the US and Vancouver, BC. Now I've set up a mailing address in Point Roberts WA I'm hoping books, parts etc that I order from the US will reach me, and in good time...

Hi Colin, Our standard desk top reference is Mike Sherrill's book "TC's Forever" On P.73 is a complete roster of TC's in the 5 catalogued colors. The pix are shot at night & the Sequoia Cream car appears to be OEW, although on P.68 you can see it isn't. Jason Marechaux (on our links page) painted the EXU car and you could get in touch with him about the color details, which I believe to be authentic.

I recently pulled a 1949 TC out of a garage where it has laid dissasembled since 1964 after an accident which destroyed one side of the body. The owner describes the color as 'Old English White'. Hoewever, the book 'T series restoration guide' p.102 says 1948/9 TC colors incl. Sequioa Cream YL5 (and your Clipper Blue), but no white. Then for TD's and TF's it lists Ivory YL5 (doesnt comment on whether this is the same color). Then on p. 119 it shows a pik of a 1949TC and calls its color Ivory!
Any comments on this would be welcome. Have you located a Sequoia Cream that you figure is close to the original, and could it be called Ivory by any stretch of the imagination!
